Therapy and Consultation Services
We’re here to help.
We provide Occupational Therapy for children with extensive Feeding Difficulties, Developmental Delays, Fine and Gross Motor Skills Delays, Sensory Processing Issues, Anxiety, and diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism, Down Syndrome, and various rare genetic diagnostic groups.
Professional Development and Mentorship programs are also available for Occupational Therapists wanting to learn more about assessment, treatment and feeding programming for complex feeding situations.
We want every child to succeed and feel confident as they develop independence in their Activities of Daily Living. The most important foundation of childhood development relates to the skills acquired through PLAY!
Lori Howell has been practicing in pediatrics for more than 25 years, with extensive experience in home care, school therapy, and at the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre (CHEO).
What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy?
Since the early 1900s, occupational therapy as a field has worked to improve physical, emotional, and mental health so that clients may fully participate in all of life's activities.
What does this look like? In our pediatric occupational therapy clinic, this takes the shape of helping a child learn how to make a friend, get dressed independently, navigate a loud restaurant without a meltdown, and so much more.
We first recognize each client's unique obstacles, then guide the client through, over, or around them to live life to the fullest.
