
Occupational Therapist
Monika is originally from New Brunswick and has been living in Gatineau for the past 10 years. She recently completed her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at the University of Ottawa. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Before pursuing graduate studies, Monika worked at CHEO in both the Genetics Department and the Neurodevelopmental Diagnostic Clinic (NDDC). In her role as a clinical assistant and research coordinator, she supported various clinical and research initiatives focused on pediatric care. During her studies, she completed three pediatric clinical placements, including her final placement with Lori, which solidified her passion for working with children and their families.
Monika is currently a member of the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario as a certified Occupational Therapist.
As a new graduate, Monika is excited to begin her practice and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care in both French and English. She is driven by a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families she works with.
